What this covers
These terms apply to buying and using software from stms. Buying a licence means you accept them. They are written to be read, not survived; if something here is genuinely unclear, email support and it will be fixed for everyone.
Who you buy from
Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record for a CHORAL purchase: the sale contract for the price you pay is between you and Paddle, and Paddle handles the payment, the receipt, VAT and refunds for the transaction. Paddle’s own buyer terms apply to that sale.
stms is a separate party in the same purchase: once Paddle has processed your order, stms grants you the software licence described in the EULA. The two roles do not overlap — Paddle sells, stms licenses.

What a licence is
A CHORAL licence is a right to install and use the plugin, held on your account, active on up to 3 machines at once. It is yours to keep for the version you bought and its updates within that major version. It is not a transfer of ownership of the software, and it is not for resale.
What we ask
Do not share your account or serial to give other people the plugin — seats exist so a real person can work on their own machines, not so a licence can be spread around. Do not attempt to defeat the licensing, and do not redistribute the installer as if it were yours to hand out.
What we promise, and do not
The plugin is sold as described on its page at the time you buy. We work to keep it stable and correct, and a failing licence check will only ever pass your dry signal through — it will not damage a session. We cannot promise it is free of every bug or that it will run in software we have not tested.
Your right to cancel
If you are buying as a consumer in the EU or UK, the law gives you 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason. Because CHORAL is digital content delivered immediately as a download, that statutory right ends once you expressly ask for delivery to start right away and acknowledge, at checkout, that you are giving it up — this is the waiver you confirm before paying.
That waiver does not remove the refund policy below: stms offers 14 days to ask for your money back regardless, so in practice the outcome is the same either way.
Refunds
Within 14 days of purchase, ask and you get your money back. The trial exists so you rarely need to.
