Who grants this
This is the licence stms grants for CHORAL, separate from the purchase itself — Paddle sells you the copy, this document is what you may do with it.
Grant
stms grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use CHORAL on up to 3 computers you control at one time, for as long as your entitlement is valid. A perpetual licence stays valid for the major version you bought and its updates within it.
Ownership
The software is licensed, not sold. stms retains all rights not expressly granted here. You may not copy the plugin except as needed to install and back it up, and you may not reverse-engineer, resell, rent, or redistribute it.
Your music is yours
Anything you make with CHORAL is entirely yours. Using the plugin creates no claim by stms over your recordings, your compositions, or your releases. You owe nothing and credit nothing.
Bypass on failure
If the plugin cannot confirm a valid licence — offline too long, a lapsed trial, a released machine — it passes the input through unchanged rather than muting or distorting it. This is deliberate, so a licence problem is never a ruined take.
Liability
The plugin is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, stms is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.
Termination
The licence ends if you break these terms. On termination you stop using the plugin and remove it. The sections on ownership, your music, and liability survive.
